which one which one
Is mine, do you mind?
For two beers in the sun?
Come drink with me!
please don’t drink alone!
it’s much too sunny
to be all at home
Ho! What luck
to be stuck in a pluck
in a park with two ducks.
Where’s mommy duck one?
In the pond said duck two
Flapping wings and winging
up and up! in a sky so blue.
Hey! What’s this? A dance or a jig?
Or a double line ring ’round a tree bearing figs?
Swing out! Swing out!
Too loud and I’ll shout
Hands and feet
rhythm and beat
Come dance with us too
in this Ode for Two!
